today when i woke up i did not feel good
i made pancakes and i still did not feel good
i ate the pancakes and i think i felt worse

my apartment is filled with strangers and since you're not supposed to talk to strangers i am going to bed

i took some nyquil and it made me pretty drowsy

First, I'd like to thank everyone for their continued support, comments, and thoughts about the songs that I write. It has a profound effect on me, that words can't describe. Keep them coming, it keeps me motivated.

I am working on getting a record deal right now. It’s a tiring, tedious, but ultimately rewarding process.

Lately, the presidential election has been at the forefront of my thoughts (despite my distaste for politics). It isn't my place to tell you who to vote for. It isn't my place to tell you that you should care who wins or loses. But don't tell yourself that it doesn't matter or the outcome will have no effect on you because it does and it will.

I've recently been introduced to a great author and a great mind, Joan Didion. Her voice is stuck in my head and I'd like to keep it there. I see a lot of myself in her writing. She makes me feel like I'm not so alone. I've begun reading "Slouching Towards Bethlehem" which is a collection of essays by Didion written in the 1960’s. I highly recommend it.

I just finished a new song and I plan on posting a home recording of it at some point this week.

Hello friends,

I'm Kristina. This is just an introduction post; I haven't had a "blog" of any kind for quite some time now so this is all a little foreign to me but I thought it would be a nice idea to have a journal of some kind to write in while I'm traveling around playing shows with the Eskimo, and maybe even onward from then.
